The Strange Earthquake Ever Meet

On Tuesday November 8, Around 3 P.M I was sitting on a wood-made bed and watching the ghost movie on channel 9.Immediately, the wood-made bed started shaking a little bit and I thought maybe someone pushed it , but no one was behind me only me alone. Then I began to be afraid abit because no one near me, or the ghost wanted to frighten me. How can it be I never believe the ghost exists in our world. I had concluded that maybe the wood-made bed is so old that it's shaking.Minutes later, I dont notice anymore. The following day, I read a kohsontepheap newspaper about earthquake which occured in PP and in Kompong Cham around 3 pm then I started to remeber yesterday............ ohhhh...it was an earthquake.............ever meet in my life.
However, according to officals from the ministry of meterology and water said Cambodia couldn't have an earthquake and addded that he doesn't know the reason why some places in cambodia shaked.

The 52 th Anniversary of Independent Day

Today, its the 52 th anniversary of independence since cambodia obtained a complete independence from France In 1953. For 42 years, Cambodia had met countless regimes which had looked like heavy rains pouring on our country and storms that strucked our kingdom without stopping .Most changeable regimes caused by foreing interference and their ideology influence- US , China , Russia , Vietnam.

If we look back into our bitter history, Cambodia had lived in peace for only 16 years, from 1953 to 1969, since got independence from France. In 1970, there was a coup led by Lon Nol, backed by US, to topple Norodom Sihanouk regime.5 years later, Pol Pot regime, supported by China, took power following ousting Lon Nol regime. Then , in 1979, Vietnam, donated by Russia, invaded our country until the Pol Pol regime was collapsed and fled into the jungle along the Thailand border and controlled Cambodia until 1989, when the republic of soviet union fell down. With Paris peace agreement in 1991, the peace has shoned on the Kingdom again till reaching 1993 National election to finish civil war which lasted for decades ; however, the peace disappeared again in 1997 due to fighting between the two main parties: CPP, Funcipec party.

Although we live in peace now , the peace seems a bit fragile because foreigners still interfer cambodia's affair and politics.
